CARGORACK - Carry that weight!
"Boy, you're gonna carry that weight, carry that weight a long time" - from the Beatles - Abbey Road album. We know what you were saying guys...
You know, when we sit down in one of our marathon "What should we be doing next?" meetings, the discussion always comes back to carrying stuff. And we don't mean camping and kajaking, we mean a beer crate, a stack of groceries and ok, maybe even the kitchen sink. USED has always had this core interest. We sell the CarryFreedom trailers and the Xtracycle. The Monark range is also a big seller with it's range of transportbikes.

rear rack - holzboden optional
We felt we needed something to convert a standard bicycle into a truck. We started with a rear rack, our first customer was a pizza delivery company who wanted to delivery co2 neutral. The idea spread and in next to no time we had a rack with a 420x450mm load bed and a lovely wooden base. We've been dealing with steel for a long time now and wood is a logical next step. It looks good, it be recycled and it's strong. The rack is fitted to the rear axle and the carrier plate. Maximum load: 25 kilos

front rack
The first design is the flat rack. Just a platform that you can adapt to take your stuff, use an elastic expander to tie the load down and you've got a very versatile transport system. Both front racks, can carry 15 kilos and are fitted to the front wheel axles and the fork. They won't work with suspension forks yet, but let's be honest, no one riding a workhorse of a bike uses suspension forks, right?

One cool thing about these racks is that they are retro-compatible. So take out that old granny bike and make it into a real mule train of a bike. We worked on this design with our friends from PfauTec and they were the perfect partners for the job. Thanks to Achim and Fritz for that.
